Since 2006 Yorck has been consulting as a lawyer on corporate and insolvency law issues. His clients include domestic and foreign investors, start-ups and medium-sized companies.

​

The main focus of Yorck’s consulting activities is on early and later stage corporate finance, in particular venture capital. Yorck regularly advises on domestic and cross-border VC, PE and M&A transactions as well as TV and online media deals (Media for Equity, Media for Revenue) and in restructuring and distressed situations.

Yorck started his legal career in 2006 working over six years as a member of the restructuring and special situations group of a major international law firm. Subsequently, Yorck joined one of Germany’s largest private television broadcasters based in Unterföhring near Munich. In 2016, Yorck joined a Munich based boutique law firm as a partner.

In addition to his work as a lawyer, Yorck founded his first company in 2015 developing and licensing patent portfolios.

​

In 2006, Yorck published his thesis on how IP rights can be safely acquired in M&A transactions for which Yorck earned his doctoral degree of Humboldt University, Berlin.
